Removal of Allegedly Infringing Material

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA Notice, we will:

  • Review the claim and verify its validity;

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material;

  • Notify the user or content owner who uploaded or posted the material;

  • Provide the opportunity to submit a counter-notice as described below.

Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification in accordance with 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3).

Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;

  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and its previous location;

  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;

  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;

  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if outside the U.S., to the jurisdiction of any U.S. Federal District Court where Game Development Agency is located); and

  6. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA claim or their authorized agent.

Repeat Infringers

It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, to disable or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.

Misrepresentations and Abuse of Process
